The objectives of the branch are  :

To maintain and promote Esprit de Corps and comradeship amongst all former and serving Royal Marines, to keep them in touch with the activities of the Cornwall Branch, the Association and the serving Corps. To maintain the welfare of the membership, to raise funds and to make donations to charities which assist Royal Marines and other local charities :

New members are always welcome and membership is open to all who have served with or in the Royal Marines.  Social members are also welcomed.

  • Heavily discounted solicitor services for will writing (50%), house selling and buying (20%), domestic law (10%) and personal accident cases (free).  Irwin Mitchell is a very well respected firm and it operates throughout the country. This includes Central Officeproviding a complaints service where necessary.
  • Centralised fund raising activities
  • Liaison with the Veteran’s Agency including help with grants to Branches
  • Full and Associate membership costs £5 per annum which makes it the cheapest former serviceman’s  association in the country

Cornwall Branch was formed in  1987.

Branch Meetings are held on the second Tuesday in each month at the Royal British Legion Club, Truro, at 1930 hrs
